Hotel Indigo Palau

Currently under construction on Malakal Island, Hotel Indigo Palau is situated in a breathtaking location, fronting a coral reef with stunning views. Designed with two hundred guest rooms, a neighbourhood cafe, sunset bar by the pool, separate restaurant and variety of modern amenities that will provide the height of luxury to guests.

Appointed as the design lead at the issued for construction stage of the project at the request of the client, Actus was tasked with a full architectural re-design. Collaborating with an international project team, Actus has coordinated efforts across multiple time zones through highly effective communication strategies. Managing a project in a remote site, Actus has addressed slope and tidal challenges through innovative flood resilient engineering, while employing modular construction techniques to overcome the logistical challenges of the resort’s location. Hotel Indigo Palau is expected to be completed in 2026.
